Pi Network was founded by Nicolas Kokkalis and Chengdiao Fan. They both have PhD degrees from Stanford University USA. Kokkalis holds a degree in computer science and Fang has a doctorate in computational anthropology. This Pi Network Cryptocurrency Mining application first appeared in 2019. Philips explained that Pi already has its own blockchain and exchanger which will later be used as a medium of exchange between cryptocurrencies or other currencies.

In this event, Jupri announced that at this time, a PIC (Person In Charge) will be formed who is in charge of building networks in districts and cities throughout East Java.

Hari as the representative for the Sidoarjo region, Imam for the Gresik region, Bambang for the Lamongan region, Wahyu for the Pasuruan region, Malang by Khenpi, Probolinggo in the confirmation process, Cristyanto representing Kediri-Madiun and its surroundings, Madura Island represented by Sajad, Ponorogo represented by Haris, Mojokerto by Siti , Bojonegoro by Antok, Nganjuk while by Ade, Lumajang represented by Miftha, while for areas that are still vacant, representatives will be appointed immediately. Furthermore, East Java Pioneers will be included in the official community group.
